Childebrandeof Autun and Dyname; his maternal grandfather was Ct. Boso III of Turin. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Boso II of Provence, Richard of Bourgogne, Boson II of L Bourgogne, of Metz and Richildis (Richaut) of Metz.

He had a biological son named Boso of Bourgogne.
