His paternal grandparents were King Duncan I MacCrinan Scotland and Aelflaed Sybilla FitzSiward of Northumbria; his maternal grandparents were Finn Arnesson and Bergliot (Thorborg) Halfdansdottir. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named The Saint, Bardolph FitzThorfin Of, Paul I, Mary Canmore and Matilda Atheling Edith Canmore. He died on November 12th, 1094 in Slain At Mondyne.-
