Raoul of Dijon was born about 0840.  Raoul of Dijon's father was Ct. Eudes of Troyes and his mother was Wandilmode.  His paternal grandfather was Ct. Guiquin of Slosnois.  He was an only child.

He had a biological son named Robert of Autun.
