Jane McGhie 
Jane was born on October 11th, 1661 in in Derryshire, Ireland.. Jane's father was Alexander McGhie and her mother was Jane Milliken. She was an only child. She died at the age of 79 in 1740 in Ireland.General Notes
Other researchers state: Joseph was born Jan. 9, 1657 in Donegalshire, Ireland. Joseph was in the protest of 1688 with William of Orange in the defense of Derryshire. He died Sept. 8, 1692 in Lifford Parish, Ballygoogan, Donegalshire, Ireland. His parent's were John Caldwell, Jr.and Mary Holmes. Jane McGhie died in 1740 in Ireland and her parent's were Alexander McGhie and Jane Milliken. Joseph and Jane had 9 children.
Jane and Joseph Alexander were married in a religious ceremony on April 8th, 1682 in in Co. Donegal, Ireland. They had four sons and three daughters, named Andrew, John, George, Andrew, Catherine, Elizabeth and Jane.

John was born on January 9th, 1683 in Ballyogan of Record, Ireland. He died at the age of 67 on October 6th, 1750 in Cub Creek, Lunenburg, Virginia. He was buried in Cub Creek Presbyterian Church in what is now Charlotte Co., Va formerly Lunenburg, Co., Va.
George Caldwell
George was born in Ballybogan, County Donegal, Ireland. He died in 1779 in Lunenburg County, Cub Creek, Va.
