Bertred was born about 1197 in Warmincham, Cheshire, England.. Bertred's father was Sir Ralph Mainwaring and her mother was Amicia of Chester. Her paternal grandparents were Roger Mainwaring and Ellen. She was an only child. She died after 1249.General Notes
