Edward The Martyr was born about 0963.  Edward The Martyr's father was Edgar The Peaceable King Of England and his mother was Elfrida(Elfthryth) Queen Of England.  His paternal grandparents were Edmund I Magnificent King Of England and Elgiva Queen Of England; his maternal grandparents were Ordgar Ealdorman and Mrs Ordgar Ealdorman. He had three brothers named Edmund Prince, Edmund Prince and Ethelred II The Unready.  He was the oldest of the four children. He had two half-brothers named Edward The Martyr and Edmund Prince.  He died in Corfe, Dorset.
