William Hankeford Knight and Christina Stapleton; his maternal grandparents were Sir. Richard Stapeldon Knight and Mrs. Stapeldon. He had three sisters named Agnes, Jane and Joan. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died on February 8th, 1430.-
