Lucy was born about 1136. Lucy's father was Earl Miles Fitz Walter , Earl of Herford and her mother was Sibyl de Neufmarche. Her paternal grandparents were Walter FitzRoger and Bertha; her maternal grandparents were Lord of Brecon Bernard deNeufmarche , Lord of Brecon and Nesta fitz Osborn. She had three brothers and five sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Henry, Roger, Walter, Berta, Bertha, Margery, Lucy, Bertha and Mahel. She had three half-sisters named Margaret, Lucy of Hereford Lady of Blaen and Bertha. She died after 1220.-
