Osbern was born in 1055 in Herefordshire, England. Osbern's father was Richard Fitz Scrob and his mother was Wife Of Richard FitzScrob Mrs. He had a half-brother named Osborn. He died at the age of 25 in 1080.
They had a son and a daughter, named Hugh and Nest verch.
