Baron William Fitz Alan 
William was born about 1136 in Oswestry, Shropshire, England. William's father was Baron Alan Fitz Flaad and his mother was Adeliza Hesden. His paternal grandparents were Baron Flaald of St. Florent and Avelina Hesdin; his maternal grandfather was Warine Hesden. He was an only child. He died in 1210 in England.General Notes
