Emma of Bayern was born about 0810 in Altdorf, , Bayern. Emma of Bayern's father was Duke Guelph III of Bayern and her mother was Hedwig (Edith) of Sachsen. Her paternal grandparents were Duke Guelf of Bayern and Hedwig. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Konrad I of Argengau, Ethico I of Bayern, Jutta of Bayern and Emma of Bayern. She was the second youngest of the five children. She died on January 31st, 0876 in Tours, Neustria.General Notes
