Elias Count of Maine's father was Foulques V Le Jeune Count D' Anjou and his mother was Ermengarde(Ermentrude) Countess Du Maine. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Geoffrey V The Handsome, Elias Count of Maine, Sibyl Countess and Mathilde Duchess. He had four half-brothers named Amaury, Badouin III, Amaury and Badouin III.
