Crinan of Dunkeld was born about 0975 in Atholl, Pert, Scot.. Crinan of Dunkeld's father was Earl Duncan of Atholl. His paternal grandfather was Thane Duncan of Dule. He had a brother named Crinan of Dunkeld. He was the older of the two children. He died in 1045 in Dunkeld, Pert, Scot. slain.General Notes
