Conchenn ingen Cellaig Cualain of Laigim's father was Cellach Cualann mac Gerthideof Laigin and her mother was Mugain ingen Failbi.  Her paternal grandfather was Gerthidemac Dicolla Danae; her maternal grandparents were Failbe mac Domnail of Ui Bairrche and Ethne ingen Crundmael.  She was an only child.  She died in 0715.

They had two sons named Diarmaid and Ruaidri mac Faelain of Laign.
