Alice Brun

Alice's father was Hugh Brun and her mother was Isabella of Angaouleme Dowager Queen.  Her maternal grandfather was Aimar Taillefer Count of Angouleme. She had two brothers named William and Hugh. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named III King of England, Richard Plantagenet, Joan, Isabella and Eleanor.

‌Alice and John were married in a religious ceremony in August 1247.
