His paternal grandparents were Ranulph deBostock and Margaret deVerdon; his maternal grandparents were Earl Hugh Kevelioc deMeschines Earl of Chester and Bertha de Montfort. He had a brother named Henry. He was the younger of the two children. He had two half-sisters named Margaret de and Margaret. He died about 1245.-
