Walter was born in 1140 in Blanchland, Numb, England..  Walter's father was Walter Bolebec and his mother was Helawise.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 47 in 1187.


Walter's first family with Sibil Vesci

‌Walter and Sibil were married in a religious ceremony about 1163.  They had a son named Hughes II.

They had a daughter named Isabel.
