William was born in 1215 in Of Elmley, Worcestershire, England. William's father was Sir. Walcheline Beauchamp and his mother was Lady Joane de Mortimer. His paternal grandparents were Sir. Walter Beauchamp and Bertha Braose; his maternal grandparents were Sir Roger II de Mortimer and Lady Isabel Ferrers. He was an only child. He died at the age of 53 on January 12th, 1268.-
