Grono Ap Ednyfed Vychan

Grono was born in Trecastell in Anglesey. Grono's father was Prince Ednyfed Vychan and his mother was Gwenllian Verch Lord Rhys Ap Gruffydd Ap Rhys. His paternal grandparents were Rhys Ap Gruffydd, King Of deheubarth and Angharad Ap Hwfa Ap Cynndelw; his maternal grandparents were Lord Rhys Ap Gruffydd Ap Rhys Ap Tudur Mawr and Gwenllian Verch Madog Ap Meredydd. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Tudor and Angharad. He died in 1270.
