Ralph was born about 1506 in Great Peover Co. Cheshire, Enhland. Ralph's father was Henry de Antrobus and his mother was Elizabeth Machelfield. His paternal grandparents were Thomas de Antrobus and Mary Fitz-Walter; his maternal grandfather was John Machelfield. He was an only child.
He had a biological son named William.
