Her paternal grandparents were Emperor Basileos I of Byzantium (the Macedonian) and Eudocia Ingerina; her maternal grandfather was Stylianos Tzautzes. She had a brother named Konstantinos VII Porphyrogenitus of Byzantium. She was the older of the two children. She died about 0914.General Notes
