Alfonso VIII Sanchez of Castile, known as The Noble, was born on November 11th, 1155 in Soria, Castile. The Noble's father was King Sancho III Alfonsez of Castile (The desired) and his mother was Blanca Garciez of Navarre. His paternal grandparents were King Alfonso VII Raimundez of Castile, Leon & Galicia and Berenguela Reimundez of Barcelona; his maternal grandparents were King Garcio VII Ramirez of Navarre and Marguerite of Aigle. He was an only child. He died at the age of 58 on October 6th, 1214 in Gutierre Munoz, Avila, Castile. He was buried in Huelgas, Burgos, Castile.General Notes
