Aldgyth of Mercia

Aldgyth of Mercia was born about 1039 in Mercia. Aldgyth of Mercia's father was Earl Aelfgar III of E Anglia and her mother was Alversa or Aelgifu Malet. Her paternal grandfather was Earl Leofric III of Mercia; her maternal grandfather was William Malet. She had two sisters named Aldgyth of Mercia and Lucy of Mercia. She was the second oldest of the three children. She died about 1086.
