* Hugh VII was born in 1065.  * Hugh VII's father was * Hugh VI de Lezigan Sire and his mother was * Ildegard Thouars.  His paternal grandparents were * Hugh V Sire and * Almodis de la Marche; his maternal grandparents were * Aumary IV Thouars and * Auremarde Moulcon.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 86 in 1151.

They had a daughter named * Ponce.
