Richard Whinnen 
Richard was born in 1839 in St Erth, Cornwall ENG and his baptism took place there on February 9th, 1840. Richard's father was * Richard Whinnen and his mother was * Peninah Williams. His paternal grandparents were * John Whinnen and * Mary Blight; his maternal grandparents were * James Williams and * Penina Blee. He had five brothers and two sisters, named * John, Edward Blee, Samuel, Joseph Williams, Thomas James, Annie Blee and Elizabeth Annie. He was the oldest of the eight children.-
