Mary was born about 1813. Mary's father was James Young and her mother was Anne Taylor. Her paternal grandparents were James Young and Elizabbeth Ann UNKNOWN. She had two brothers and five sisters, named John, Littleberry, Dicy, Frances, Ann, Charity and Lucy. She was the youngest of the eight children.-
