John D Young

John D was born in 1783.  John D's father was William Young and his mother was Mildred Douglas.  His paternal grandparents were Lawrence Young and Margaret Young. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Minor, Richard, William Douglass, Judah, Lettice and Patsy.  He was the youngest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 73 on June 2nd, 1856 in Lexington,Fayette,KY.

‌John D and Eliza D were married in a religious ceremony in 1807.  They had two sons and a daughter, named Theodore W, Gabriel and Marion.
