Jennet was born about 1754.1 Jennet's father was Patrick Young and her mother was Isabella Todd. Her paternal grandparents were James Young and Sarah Todd; her maternal grandparents were Samuel Todd and Ann Houston. She had a brother and two sisters, named James, Sarah and Alice. She was the youngest of the four children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named John, Samuel and Isebella.General Notes
