Jean was born about 1774. Jean's father was Robert Young and her mother was UNKNOWN Jean. Her paternal grandparents were John Young and UNKNOWN Elizabeth. She had four brothers and four sisters, named William, Robert, Andrew, James, Lydia, Sarah, Margaret and Elizabeth. She was the third youngest of the nine children.-
