Living's father was Living Slover and her mother was Living Yount.  Her paternal grandparents were Cletus Slover and Bessie Seabaugh; her maternal grandparents were Jesse Azariah Yount and Nancy Pairlee Farmer. She had a sister named Living.

They had three sons named Living, Living and Living.
