Ruth Elizabeth was born on November 13th, 1903. Ruth Elizabeth's father was Benjamin Franklin Shyrock and her mother was Elizabeth Manzella Sanders. Her paternal grandparents were John Joesph Shyrock and Martha Ellen Morris. She had a brother and five sisters, named Joesph Franklin, Arminta Myrtle, Della Catherine, Nellie Gertrude, Maude Elanor and Gladys Inamarilla. She was the youngest of the seven children.-
