Jane Guyn was born on February 4th, 1825. Jane Guyn's father was James Shields and her mother was Sarah Elizabeth Black. Her maternal grandparents were Robert Black and Ann Spears. She had five sisters named Martha Ann, Rebecca Robert, Isabella Johnson, Elizabeth Margaret and Sarah Millen. She was the third oldest of the six children.-
