Melville Salla

Melville was born about 1837.  Melville's father was Lewis Judge Salla and his mother was Julia Ann Gordon. He had three brothers and ten sisters, named William G., Orville C., Alfred F., Huldah G., Eliza, UNKNOWN, UNKNOWN, Selena, Louisiana, Sophia, Julianna, Katherine and Alsina.  He was the seventh oldest of the fourteen children.

‌Melville and Margaret were married in a religious ceremony on September 5th, 1861.  They had a son and two daughters, named Edwin, Ona and Emily.
