Elijah Limpus

Elijah was born on August 15th, 1782 in VA.  Elijah's father was John Limpus and his mother was Delilah Harrell.  His maternal grandfather was Alexander Harrell. He had four brothers and a sister, named Enoch Aaron, Jonathon, Levi, Isaac and Mary.  He was the oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 70 on May 13th, 1853 in Shelby,IN.  He was buried in Lewis Creek Baptist Cem,Shelby,IN.

‌Elijah and Lydia were married in a religious ceremony on February 4th, 1810 in Butler,OH.  They had a son and a daughter, named Enoch and Nancy.
