George JACKSON

George was born on January 24th, 1852 in Shelbyville,Shelby,IN.  George's father was Riley Jackson and his mother was Elizabeth Lee.  His paternal grandparents were William Jackson and Elizabeth Annex. He had seven brothers and a sister, named James Franklin, John, Joseph Columbus, Charles, William Ellis, Francis Marion, Thomas Jefferson and Mary Ellen.  He was the third youngest of the nine children.

‌George and Ida were married in a religious ceremony in 1872 in Shelbyville,Shelby,IN.  They had a daughter named Jessie.
