Sallie Jane was born on August 28th, 1857. Sallie Jane's father was Adam Rankin Guyn and her mother was Isabella Johnson Shields. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Guyn and Jane Black; her maternal grandparents were James Shields and Sarah Elizabeth Black. She had a brother named James Brown. She was the younger of the two children. She had a half-sister named Margaret Garrison. She died at the age of 72 on March 22nd, 1930.-
