Martha was born in 1784. Martha's father was Robert Guyn and her mother was Jane Raburn. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Gwin and Jane Or Jean Kinkead; her maternal grandparents were Robert Raeburn and UNKNOWN Margaret. She had three brothers and eight sisters, named Moses, Robert, Samuel R, Mary, Jane, Elizabeth, Rosanna, Sally, Margaret, Isabella and Susannah.
