Edward Nicholas Guyn 
Edward Nicholas was born on October 3rd, 1840 in Troy,Jessamine,KY. Edward Nicholas' father was Samuel Raburn Guyn and his mother was Georgia Ann Yeagle. His paternal grandparents were Robert Guyn and Jane Black. He had three brothers and a sister, named Robert James, John William, Erskin Presley and Martha Hannah. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 82 on October 18th, 1922 in Wilmore,Jessamine,KY.General Notes

Edwin N. GUYN, was born October 3, 1840, and was reared on the
homestead. In 1862 he enlisted in Company H., Eighth Kentucky Cavalry,
of Morgan's command, and served until the close of the war, taking part
in every fight in which his brigade was engaged. At the death of his
father, he located on his present place of 120 acres near Wilmore,
Jessamine County. July 15, 1872, he married Miss Ann B., daughter of
Stephen and Mary E. Schofield, and has had born to him two children:
Mattie J. and Mary Lee.
