Robert was born on December 8th, 1851. Robert's father was William III Gordon and his mother was Clarinda Hankins. His paternal grandparents were William Gordon Jr. and Elizabeth KELLY; his maternal grandparents were Robert Hankins and Sarah Curry. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Chilon, Chester, Sarah and Mary M.. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Malcolm, Emaline and Indiana. He died at the age of 60 on August 26th, 1912.-
