Flora was born on March 14th, 1887 in Cincinnati,OH. Flora's father was Mathias August Geile and her mother was Philomena Hehman. Her paternal grandparents were John Heinrich Geile and Maria Getrude Fip. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Mathilda, August Henry, Anna, Alma and Marcella. She was the third oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 65 on October 8th, 1952 in Pittsfield,MA.-
