Her paternal grandparents were Oliver Dark and Amy Dark; her maternal grandparents were Johnathon Craddock and Mary Ann Pace. She had a brother and five sisters, named William Oliver, Emaline, Amy Adaline, Joseph, Martha Louise and Lydia.-
