Robert A was born on November 10th, 1717 in Londonderry,Ulster,Ireland. Robert A's father was William Curry and his mother was Sarah Young. His maternal grandparents were John Young and Annie Houston. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named William, James, John, Nathan, David, Isiah, Joseph, Sarah and Jane. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 86 on June 5th, 1804 in ,Augusta,VA. He was buried in Fort Defiance,Augusta Co.,Virginia.General Notes
