Robert Patton was born in 1816. Robert Patton's father was David Stern Crockett and his mother was Elizabeth Margaret Patton. His paternal grandparents were John Crockett and Rebecca Hawkins; his maternal grandparents were Robert Patton and UNKNOWN Rebecca. He had a brother and two sisters, named George Patton, Rebecca Elvira and Matilda. He was the oldest of the four children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named John Wesley, William and Mary Margaret Finley.-
