William Carlisle

William was born in 1747.  William's father was James Carlisle and his mother was Nancy Rachael Campbell.  His paternal grandparents were James Carlisle and UNKNOWN Elizabeth. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Robert, John, Samuel, Alexander, Jane, Nancy Rachael, Elizabeth, James and Jinny.  He was the second oldest of the ten children.
