Mrs. Mahala Lennox, wife of Alex Lennox, died at their residence yesterday afternoon at 3:30 oclock of paralysis. She was sixty-six years old. She leaves a husband and two children, Mrs. Chas. Clapp and Jesse Lennox. Funeral services will be held at Lewis Creek Baptist church Saturday at 11 oclock in the morning. Rev. G. W. Jayne will officiate. Interment in the Lewis Creek cemetery. R. T. Stewart in charge.
‌Mahala and Alexander were married in a religious ceremony on September 20th, 1860 in ,Shelby,IN. They had a son and a daughter, named Jesse and Nora E.
