Adeline was born in 1052 in Hinckley,England.1 Adeline's father was Hugh de Grentmesnil and her mother was Adeliza de Beaumont. Her paternal grandparents were Robert de Grentmesnil and Advise (Hawisa) de Escalfoy; her maternal grandparents were Yves IV , Count of Beaumont-sur-Oise de Beaumont and Adelaide de Gournay. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Ivo Or Ives, Robert, Adeliza and Agnes. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Robert III and Emma. She died after 1085.2 -
