Jose Zañartu Palacios 
Jose's father was Jose Zañartu Orueta and his mother was Teresa Palacios Ariztegui. His paternal grandparents were Juan de Zañartu Aguirre and Maria Orueta Resusta; his maternal grandparents were Pedro de Palacios Elorduy and Antonia de Aristegui Querejazu. He was an only child.
They had a son named Miguel.
