Humbert II de was born about 0950. Humbert II de's father was Humbert I Lord of Salins and his mother was Windelmode de Escuens. His paternal grandparents were Aubri de Macon Count of Macon and Attela of Mâcon; his maternal grandfather was Gui de Escuens. He had three sisters named Wandelmodis de, Adelaide, Contess of and Adela de. He died before 1028. He was buried in St. Paul's,at Berancon.General Notes
