John's father was Henry (Sir) (7th Baron of Rosslyn) Sinclair and his mother was Alice de FENTON. His paternal grandparents were William (6th Baron of Rosslyn) Sinclair and Matilda of Orkney. He had a brother named William. He died on August 25th, 1330 in Andalusia,k by Saracens.1 -
