Alan Ruthven 
Alan was born in 1170 in Scotland. Alan's father was Swain Thorsson. His paternal grandfather was Thor Svenson. He was an only child. He died at the age of 34 in 1204 in Scotland.General Notes
Was married to Eva, daughter of Swina. No children. He was adopted into Swaines family & remarried Alcestor, daughter of Morgund, 5th Earl of Mar.
They had a son named Walter.
